Thanksgiving

Drove to NJ to see the parents and brother for Thanksgiving. Sean is being deployed to Sicily for three months so he'll miss Christmas. Kitty had to come with since Heather is entertaining many people and cats this holiday. Kitty found his same old chair with no problems.

Darn Pager

I didn't realize I was on pager this weekend, which wouldn't have been too bad of a thing, except I'd turned my cellphone/pager on silent, so I didn't even hear it beep. Oh well, I worked on this callout for 4 hours and didn't get anywhere, I'm not sure another 4 would have mattered. I just feel bad for the guy before me who had to keep working it.

Hungry USB Hard Drive Case

I had a 300gb drive I wanted to use on my new non-ide computer. I went and bought a USB case for it, plugged it in, and it worked for a short time. The hard drive then went bad. Okay, not a huge deal, probably hard drive issue. So I decided to reuse said case on my 25gb drive. Pulled out the dead 300gb, trashed it, put in the "new" 25gb. It has been working for about 1-2 months (about as long as the last drive) and now it is also making horrible clicking noises... So is it the case or am I just really good at picking flaky drives?
